About
I’m Patty Fulton - a fiber artist based in Greenwood, IN.
I create textural, sculptural fiber works for interior spaces.
Sharing weaving is at the heart of my community art practice via Weaving in Community.
My practice centers on abstraction—allowing material, movement, and form to guide the development of each piece. Working primarily with natural fibers and organic elements, I create compositions that introduce depth, warmth, and quiet presence into residential and commercial interiors.
Fiber art softens space. It absorbs sound while adding texture and grounded, organic dimension. In close collaboration with homeowners and designers, I create custom works that align with the architecture, scale, and overall vision of a project. Whether developing earthy compositions or layered textile installations, each commission is approached with clarity, intention and thoughtful communication.
Weaving in Community is the heart of my community art practice. I teach classes around the Indianapolis area ~from Assisted Living Facilities, to Brewpubs and art studios. I’ve helped groups co-create large scale weavings at events such as First Fridays and summer camp. This has been such a joy and I’m excited to see this continue to expand.
